Moon Mani

14 Apr

So I’ve noticed a nail trend that caught my eye and has spread pretty quickly: the moon mani.  It’s actually been around for a while but I think it’s making a comeback with a few new twists.  These are a couple that I thought were really cool:

What do you think? Would you try this on your nails?

I’d defiintely try the moon mani, i think with the right colours it can be really chic and elegant, but I’m awful at painting my nails in general, I don’t think i’d master this very easily! xo

It’s not too hard…Here’s a tip: paint your base color (the color you want the bottom edge of the nail) and then use the sticky white reinforcements (that you would normally use to keep paper from ripping out of a binder)and place the top half on the bottom edge of your nail so it creates a half moon. Then paint the rest of the nail a contrasting color. Remove the sticker and finish with a topcoat!
